More than 450 students participate in the choral music program at Arrowhead High School. The department is dedicated to performing quality music literature and presenting a well-rounded curriculum that emphasizes music reading and music history.
Students in the program perform a wide variety of choral music styles. Singers participate in daily large group rehearsals and form smaller ensembles to perform madrigal songs, barbershop quartets, and men's and women's ensembles.
The Arrowhead choir department collaborated with the AHS instrumental program on a commissioned work for Choral Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and Chamber Strings. The AHS music department world premiered, "To You," by Carl Holmquist on May 26, 2011.

Student leadership is an integral part of the choral music program, where students study programming, directing, staging, and choreography. The five choirs at Arrowhead include Treble Choir, Baritone Chorale, South Select Ensemble, North Concert Choir, and a music theater troupe called The Broadway Company.
